Interior painting
Walls, ceilings, trim, doors, and full interior repaints. Most of the work on an interior job is protection and preparation — masking floors and furniture, filling and sanding, caulking gaps, and priming where the surface calls for it. That is the part that decides whether the finish still looks right in five years.
We will also talk you through sheen, which matters more than most people expect. The same colour in matte and in satin reads as two different colours under Knoxville’s afternoon light.

Exterior painting
Full exterior repaints, plus trim, fascia, soffits, shutters, and front doors. East Tennessee weather is the hard part: humid summers, hard UV, and a freeze-thaw cycle that finds every gap in the caulking. We wash, scrape, repair, caulk, and prime before any finish coat goes on, and we pay particular attention to the south and west elevations, which always fail first.

Deck and fence staining
Decks, fences, pergolas, porch ceilings, and exterior stairs. We use penetrating stains that soak into the wood rather than film-forming products that sit on top and eventually peel. Preparation is a controlled-pressure wash and then a proper wait for the wood to dry all the way through, which in this humidity usually means a couple of days.

Brick painting and whitewashing
Masonry paint, limewash, German schmear, and masonry stain — four quite different looks, and most people asking for painted brick actually want limewash once they have seen them side by side. We use breathable coatings so the wall can still release moisture, because trapped moisture behind a sealed brick face is what causes spalling.
Painting brick is close to permanent, so we will tell you honestly if we think yours should be left alone.
Siding painting
Wood, fibre cement, aluminium, and vinyl siding. Each takes a different preparation and a different coating, and vinyl in particular has to be painted in colours no darker than the original or it warps in summer heat. We check what you have before recommending anything.

What our preparation actually involves
Every painting company says they prepare properly. Here is what we mean by it, so you can compare like for like when you collect quotes:
- Surfaces washed and degreased, not just dusted off
- Sanding and smoothing, with dust contained
- Cracks, nail holes, and dings filled and sanded flush
- Caulking and sealing at every joint that moves or lets water in
- Spot priming or full priming depending on the substrate and what is going over it
- Floors, furniture, fixtures, and landscaping protected before anything is opened
If a quote you are comparing is significantly cheaper, this is almost always the part that has been left out of it.
How a project runs
- You call or send the form. We book a walkthrough, usually within a few days.
- On-site evaluation. We look at the actual surfaces, talk through colours and finishes, and flag anything that needs repair before painting.
- Written proposal. Fixed price, defined scope, so there is nothing to argue about later.
- Scheduling. Confirmed start and finish dates. Our calendar fills early in spring and autumn.
- Preparation and painting. Clean job site at the end of every day.
- Final walkthrough. We go over it with you and fix anything you point at before we call it finished.
